In the fall of 2006 a team of like-minded entrepreneurs decided to form Ecosip Industries Inc. to manufacture Structural Insulated Panels or SIPs. The company now includes offices and a manufacturing facility located in the community of Duncan on beautiful southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
After its first year in business, Ecosip Industries and its owners had gone through a significant learning curve that included fabricating and acquiring custom factory process equipment, training specialized workers and completing numerous successful projects. In 2007 the company was nominated for the MISTIC Award for Architectural Innovation. Ecosip Industries has positioned itself as a leader in GREEN construction technology on Vancouver Island and continues to grow.
With the company profile and image growing a decision was made to restructure early in 2008. A team of new partners each with particular and complimentary skill sets was introduced to the company and has set about the exciting task of moving the company to the next level. While the company’s primary role is to produce SIPs for construction industry the company is also a distributor of other related products such as ARXX Insulated Concrete Forms, Form-A-Drain and is also developing an energy efficient cost effective basement renovation panel soon to be on the market.
Other projects and directions that Ecosip Industries is exploring include Package Homes, Mini Storage, Float Homes, Cottages and Commercial applications. As the market for SIPs and related energy saving GREEN products grows so will Ecosip Industries Inc.
